Spotlight on reverse osmosis systems: Why are they useful?

A water osmosis unit works by means of a triple filtration system. Water is filtered to remove any impurities it may contain. The aim is to provide filtered water for your equipment. Want to find out more? Discover the many advantages of osmosis water.

The KRY500 water osmosis unit offers three levels of filtration with a Quick-Change cartridge system. The first “PP” filter removes particles larger than a micron and suspended matter from the water. Next, an activated carbon filter removes chlorine from the water.

The reverse osmosis technology also purifies the liquid. It retains all particles larger than 0.00001 microns in diameter. This includes chlorine (often present in large quantities in tap water), pesticides, heavy metals, nitrates, organic matter and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). It is therefore a membrane that filters extremely fine particles that can pass through the first filter.

The final “T33/Coco” filter will absorb odours and improve the taste of drinking water.

You can use a water osmosis unit if your water is too acidic or too hard. You’ll benefit from water that’s less hard and more respectful of the pipes in your climate chambers.

This osmosis unit is easy to install, operate and maintain. Its LED display makes it quick and easy to read the quality of the incoming and outgoing water, as well as the status of your cartridges (wear indicators). The KRY500 osmosis unit requires no special maintenance. However, our team can offer to install and maintain it for you.
